question - 2 numbers 1 unity vm inbox?

I have a user with a conference phone in his office and he wants it to go to his regular Cisco unity vim inbox after four rings and no answer. His regular extension is x1234 and his conference extension is x1235. Is this possible? Cucm 7.1 and unity connections 7.1.3

Hi Luke,

In Unity Connection Admin go to the setup page for 1234 and (edit)

Add 1235 as an Alternate Extension.

Then when the call flows through to Unity Connection the proper

Greeting should play.

On x1235 do I need to configure something in call manager to tell it to go to vm? Do I need to create a x1235 vim box at all? Thanks

Simply configure 1235 to forward to VM just like 1234 and ensure it has proper VM Profile set.
