question about auto attendant on unity

if i set unity to greeting and transfer to extension 2101 ,how to set unity or callmanager to check that if 2101 is busy it will backward to unity and anouncement to pstn-user that "right now it's not available, please wait for another contact", and then call to another extension

You can do a supervised transfer. If it rings, Unity can pull the call back. Otherwise, you have two options...

IPCC with scripts to run this type of operations or the poor mans IPCC.

- basically you need to setup CCM and Unity to work together.

- Define your extensions in this group. If the caller rings 2101, rings x times, goes to Unity, plays the greeting that they are on the phone, after the greeting, ring ext 2102, same thing.. ring x times, roll to Unity, play a greeting, (dont take the message) then roll to a phone again.

for either of the options to work, CM busy trigger needs to be set to 1. Else, CM will dispatch the call to the Phone and it will ring. AFAIK, the caller would not know that the called phone is busy.
