Question about Gatekeeper

Hi everyone,

Due to cost analisys, I´m trying to monitor the total number of calls (getting detailed information) during a day (10 hours)  in my gatekeeper. So the question is, is there any debug for this purpose?

I´ve used CDR but I don´t get the information that I need.

My intention is to implement a debug (I need to know the restrictions for this debug related to the Gatekeeper performance, can I have it for 10 hours?), increase the logg memory and get the results.

If you know other way to do this, please let me know.

Hi there,

Running debugs to capture detailed info on calls for 10 hours does

not sound like a good idea to me.

Not sure what info u were looking for that CDR did not provide?

Or is it that CDRs were not generated at all by the GK ?

Unlike GWs, IOS GK supports CDRs via Radius and not Syslog.

IMHO, you will be better off using GK CDR than capturing and

parsing debugs. Try that with FreeRadius.

Firstly, many thanks for your response mate.

Replying to your questions, yes a debug for 10 hours didn´t sound very well to me. But I was thinking for example in a debug with low CPU process, probably you know the debug for this, I´ve been looking for in CCO but no result. The only thing that I need is a list with the international calls during a day. I don´t know if using statistics by cli?... but I don´t know how.

In relation to CDR, yes that´s the problem CDR doesn´t generate any on the GK.

Due to the authentication of the network I can´t use FreeRadius (It was a great idea)

Any suggestion will be welcome.
