"Phone not registered", but phone is working

This happens from time to time in our environment of ~150 phones (6921s and 6941s), running on CME 8. Some of the phones show Phone not registered on the display, but everything is working properly - phone is ringing, can place calls, etc.. Looks like a bug to me. Any ideas how I could solve this?

what do you mean the phone is not registered? Do you see an extensioon number on the phone?

No, I can not see anything on the display except that message. Weirdest thing is that all is working well - I pick up the phone and dial normaly. Everything works, but display says only Phone not registered. I wouldnt care much but this is creating quite a lot of support requests as people start to panic
