register linksys spa942 with call manager 5.0(4)

I setup Unified call manager 5.0(4) and am trying to register a linksys phone. When I do a sniff on the SIP registration process, the linksys phone does not send the mac address or the username and password to the call manager in its registration request.

I have one SPA942 running as Basic SIP phone (advanced did not work up to now, have to check firmware). I used AuthID as the Digest User and UserID I filled up with the phone number of the device. I did not use a password.

Can you explain more in detail what exactly you did to set this up? For the Digest User Device Security Mode, did you use encrypted, authenticated, non secure?
