register to different callmanager

we have two callmanagers 4.1(3), publisher and subscriber. we tried to register IP Phone A to publisher and IP Phone B to subscriber. after successfully register, IP Phone A can not call IP Phone B or vice versa. Does anyone know this behaviour?

FYI, we also have another cluster CCM 5.1.1. Trying to do same thing as CCM 4.1(3). IP Phones can call each others normally.

Regards,

Edi

Re: register to different callmanager

Check the partitions/calling search spaces of the 2 phones. The calling search space must contain the partition assigned to the DN of the called phone.

Re: register to different callmanager

Hi,

thank for your response, but it is not partition problem. however, the problem was solved by restarting both ccm callmanager service.

thx

Re: register to different callmanager

If you register the phones to the same server are you able to call between them? If yes, then most likely the SDL link between the servers is broken, to bing it back up you need to restart the CCM service on both servers or reboot the servers.
