Registering generic SIP Phone to UC520

Hello I need to register a generic SIP phone to my UC500.

I tried the suggested configuration vut doesn't work:

on my phone I have the following fields:

SERVER SIP:    address  <-- i put 192.168.123.2

                        port        <-- i put 5060

SERVER REGISTRAR SIP:    address

                                                port                            I tried both living these fileds blank and inserting 192.168.123.2 , 5060

ACCOUNTING MODULE:          username

                                                  password

                                                      auth ID

                                                      timeout

Any suggestion?

in your "voice register dn 2" setting, you use "number 56" which is the extension you wish to use for the SIP phone. For SIP Client to authenticate, you must also use the same number in the "username" section of "pool 2" instead of "johnny", as follows: "username 56 password italy". This will allow the SIP client to register with the CME
