Remotely determining if a user has voicemails waiting

We run our environment in a centralized call processing model, with some branch offices where users have VM boxes on a centralized UC server.  I'm probably missing something obvious, but is there a way to determine if a user actually has voicemail waiting in the VM box without phsyically going to the phone itself?

Hi Paul,

You check via Unity Connection admin > User > Message waiting indicators

or from CUCM you can find the phone > Click on IP address to bring up phone

web page " MW on/off
