Hi all
Anybody know of a way to remove a specific SDP media attribute from a SIP INVITE?
I'm currently battling with a SIP Service Provider who are asking me to remove one of the attributes we are sending from our CUBE (despite the same config working perfectly with other SIP SPs)
They want me to remove media attribute 19 (CN).
I've tried looking at SIP profiles (voice class sip-profiles) and looking for a specific way of just removing one attribute from the header but can't seem to find one... Anybody got any ideas?
Bring back the days of ISDN PRI. Much simpler
Current CUBE Config:
voice service voip
allow-connections h323 to h323
allow-connections h323 to sip
allow-connections sip to h323
allow-connections sip to sip
sip
bind control source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0.761
bind media source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0.761
early-offer forced
!
dial-peer voice 666 voip
destination-pattern 123456789
voice-class sip privacy header
voice-class sip early-offer forced
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:192.168.1.28
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
codec g711alaw

Try to add "no vad" on the outgoing dial-peer
(19 is comfort noise payload type, and here you are just disabling VAD)

Hi Volodymyr
Perfect - thank you. Talk about me trying to overcomplicate things! Then again, I've just found out how to fix another problem with SIP SDP header translations so I didn't totally waste my time.
Thanks again. Barry
