Solved: Reorder Dial Peers?

Hi,

I have configured a CME 8.6 router with 20+ dial peers. I would like these to appear in the config based upon the numeric value assigned to the dial peer.

It seems that they appear based upon the order of configuration.

Is there any way (short of manually editing the config file and then uploading it) to reorder them?

I do not think this is possible but would like confirmation of this.

Hi

It will come in order of configuratoin only.....you can remove the config and put the edit one again.

I think a reboot re-orders them. Or at least it used to...

Thanks for the response.

I have just tried a reboot and the dial peers remain in the order entered

I am running IOS 15.2. I will try this on some older verions when I get a chance.
