How is this possible? I'm at a company and without dialing 9 they can dial 10 digit number and they get out without any problems, however, when checking in dial analyzer I see 'block this pattern'. If CUCM won't route a call; how does it get out?

It's not, you must be missing something in their config/routing.
A GW/trunk can ONLY be associated to a RP directly, or a RG to route calls outside of CUCM.

Jaime,
I thought I was going crazy, but I ran the analyzer and it showed block. I grabbed jabber and dialed out and it worked.....

DNA runs based on what it goes and find in the DB, CUCM really works on what it has in memory, and sometime they go out of sync. That would be an explanation. They deleted/modified the dial plan, and it will only work until they reboot.
