Route list does not use MGCP gateway if H323 E1 shutdown
Hi. I have a route list that contains both an H323 and an MGCP Gateway, both are configured with E1s. H323 is option 1 and MGCP is option 2. If I shutdown the E1 on the H323 gateway, the route list does not redirect the call via the MGCP gateway. I can see the call come into the H323 gateway and If I block the call with an Access list then the route list works as expected. The problem seems to be that the UCM thinks the call via the H323(E1) gateway has concluded as soon as it gets a response from the H323 GWay, even though the call then fails because the E1 is shutdown or faulty. I think there must be a timer in H323/UCM that controls this. If anyone can shed any light on this I would be grateful. M Obrien
