Hello,
I have a route pattern that needs to dial 811 on an outside line. 9.811 works, but when the user dials it, they have to wait a long time for the connection to be made. If I enter patter 9.811# and they enter the # it goes right away, but if they forget the # they get an invalid number.
1) How can I speed it up, is urgent priority the only way?
2) How can I have the pattern accept 9.811 and 9.811# also? Do I need to set up two route patterns?
Thanks in advance,
Gene

You get IDT if you have overlapping numbers (It's expected and documented), the solutions are:
a) create a non-overlapping dial plan
b) keep overlapping but check urgent priority
those are the only options to have it go immediately

1. Yes, as soon as it matched will go through when urgent priority is marked.
2. Yep, setup 2 patterns.
