RTD for call control

There is a recommended min. 150 RTD for voice but is there a min. for call control. I`m thinking of deploying SRST cluster but only send Call Control across the Link with local telco traffic via a local T1- Th elink back to teh central system has long delays on it . All IPT calls will either be on the same router so no WAN traffic except Call Control or via the E1. There may be a local CUE or not

Many thanks

Re: RTD for call control

Signaling or call control traffic requires bandwidth when devices are registered across the WAN with a remote Cisco Unified CallManager server in the same cluster.

Re: RTD for call control

Thanks for your reply but I`m looking for details on call control and is there a delay limit as in voice or are they the same i.e 150ms. Teh idea is that we only send call control across the WAN due to size of the link for voice etc

Re: RTD for call control

i'd say it's a little more resistant to delay, but in any case i'd keep it below under 200 ms. otherwise the delay would be noticeable by the users ie, delay in dial tone, delay on call establishment, delay on softkey response, etc
