RTMT takes a long time to download files

Morning all,

We have a CUCM 7 and when trying to pull simple call manager traces from all nodes - 5 Nodes in all, using a 5 minute timescale zipped or unzipped takes up to 40 minutes to retrieve.

There are no issues with connectivity and everything works fine. Has anyone seen this before, or would know where to look for more info as to why it takes such a long time. In all the files are around 180MB.

Hi,

Is the PC on which you are using RTMT to download traces connected in the same LAN as your callmanager ? Basically are you connecting over VPN etc as this may cause delay.

Does RTMT take a while to start downloading files, or it connects to the first server in a timely manner but then seems to sit on each file for a while when it's downloading before switching to the next file?

What about the transfer rate? If you open task manager and monitor the trasfer rate, what's the average rate?
