Running CER 7.0 on VMware?

Has anyone successfully loaded CER 7.0 on Vmware? I know this is not a supported config, but I have run into the issue where CER 7.0 will not run on any of the new, non EOS, MCS Servers such as the MCS 7825-I4-IPC1. I need a temporary solution until 7.03 comes out towards summer that actually supports current server hardware.

I have it running under VMWare in a lab for testing purposes only. Seems to work ok, no issues yet.

Good to hear, I may be stuck doing that until they release 7.0(3). Did you have to use any special settings in your vitual machine, or did the standard setting pretty much work?

I actually use a MacPro 8-core with 14 Gigs of memory for my VMWare setup. I have all the 7.x products running on it at the same time without any issues - actually quite fast.

Each VM config is similar with 2GB of RAM, 75GB hard drive (can be dynamic) and single CPU. I also remove all the USB, sound and other devices from the profile.
