Same route-pattern

Hi,

is it possible to have same route pattern(9.xxxxxxx) for two gateway (one in the HQ other in remote site) using SRST.

I mean any extension in the HQ dial 9.xxxxxxx will go PSTN through local gateway and the remote will also dial 9.xxxxxx to get to loacl PSTN.

Thanks

Re: Same route-pattern

of course! give each site their own CSS, with access to the internal Partition + the site specific Partition containing the local 9.xxxxxxxxxx pointing to the correct gateway!

9.xxxxxxxxxx / pt-sitea -> RL-SITEA

9.xxxxxxxxxx / pt-siteb -> RL-SITEB

css-sitea / pt-internal

pt-sitea

css-siteb / pt-internal

pt-siteb

RL-SITEA -> HQ gateway

RL-SITEB -> remote SRST GW

Re: Same route-pattern

just as a side note from the great info from Chad make sure you do not have both partitions on the same CSS because that will cause the partition that is higher on the CSS to be selected over the other one.

this kind of configuration can also be used for toll-bypass in case you want it.
