I`m looking at a SBC to resolve a Firewall requirement. I`m aware that a SBC can work in a through mode which I want, if I`m reading it correctly
All sites have a single GW connecting it to the WAN , it is registered to a central Gatekeeper behind a Firewall- this current set up allows the Call Control to be sent via the FW but the RTP is not and this needs to be resolved
How does SBC work?
Do you deploy a SBC per site?
Do I configure the local GW A as a SBC as well and then configure the Dial-Peers to point to another SBC/ Gatekeeper behind the FW which turns send the call back to the original GW A and then out to the local WAN/ PSTN- this way both the call control and RTP is sent via the Firewall for inspection
