Hi,
I've recently purchased a pair of cisco etokens that should allow the migration of phones from one cluster to another on call manager 8.0(2). I have one question really.....do you have to configure that clusters for mixed mode with the ctl client or can you just update the ctl file to allow phones to move inter cluster. I have to say that documentation seems a little confusing. We've tried to just update the ctl file on 2 clusters but that has not worked. The phone registers to the initial cluster but when moved, will not register to the other one. According to documentation I've read, that should work. We get a ctl file from the new cluster but the itl file is from the previous one (the one the phone has registered to). We still have to delete the ctl/itl files on the phone for it to register to the new cluster. Obviously that doesnt help us.
Thanks,
Phil

The most preferred option is to make use of the CUCM Enterprise Parameter "Prepare Cluster for Rollback to pre-8.0."

Hope it helps
