I'd love to help but, any particular reason why you want to run the port on SCCP and not MGCP? SCCP fax will not support T.38 and will make it more difficult. I run all my fax machines on FXS through MGCP, I can share a config if it helps.
Thanks,
Frank

Thanks Frank, yes it would be very helpful

Ok, this is my config from my CUBE, I run my cube as a SIP gateway with trunks to my ITSP and CUCM but adding a bit of mgcp to manage the devices attached. Please make sure you understand the technology and the changes you are making before you choose to adopt this config, this is simply an example of how I do it, your company needs may differ from mine.
Thanks,
Frank

This will enable you to register your fxs port with CUCM via MGCP, then in CUCM via the gateway device you can make adjustments like speed, error correction, and more details for your fax.

Hi Clypherus
MGCP now is configured and the fxs has registered with the cucm but the problem stills the same
when i call the analog phone it will not ring but if you off-hock the handset you can hear the other end but they can't hear you
outgoing calls are OK

How are you connected to the PSTN? Sip trunk?
When you check the configuration of you FXS port in call manager, does it look like this?:
Cisco MGCP FXS Port | |
RI-3925-CUBE | |
Analog Access | |
Device is not trusted | |
Registration | Registered with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 10.0.17.6 |
IP Address | 10.0.12.2 |
AALN/S0/SU3/0@RI-3925-CUBE |
Thanks,
Frank

Ok, let me make sure I got all the facts: it does not ring when called. But if you pick up the handset you can hear the caller, and they cannot hear you.
Next step: While "ringing" on the gateway do "debug vpm signal" and "Debug ccssip messages". Call from your cell phone, post both debugs separately.
Have you considered trying a different FXS card?
Thanks,
Frank

Thanks Francisco
The problem as cisco says the FXSDID is not supported with MGCP, i tried sip instead and now it's ok
