hi

I am having some problems with SCCP gateway

My analog phone doesnt have any tone when i configure it through SCCP gateway

Need help dont know where am i making mistake

Your config is missing the stcapp ccm-group command..

example:

stcapp ccm-group 1
stcapp

service stcapp

if it still doesnt work please send the output of the following please

Is the gateway registered to the CUCM? Have the endpoints been created on CUCM as skinny endpoints? What is their registration status?

From you sh diag, I can see that you only have 32 channel DSP. How many PRI channels did you configure on the gateway? You have 12 FXS ports and 1 E1/T1 card. That suggest to me that you need atleast 64 channel DSP to support all of these cards.

Make sure that there a port has only the stcapp dial-peer and no mgcpapp dial-peer also.

Do the following debugs and see if can log any activity on the router.

debug vpm signal

debug sccp event

debug voip vtsp default

You'll be able to see if the port on the router detected the off-hook and what happens after that.

Hi Sreekanth

Well when i execute the command debug vpm signal and i off hook my analog fone configured via MGCP shows some out put, but the one configured via SCCP doesnt give any out put

Ok, so that indicates that the mgcp process, and that port is working.

I suggest doing no mgcp on the router, and then removing all dial-peers related to mgcp, followed by configuring the dial-peers for stcapp on those ports. Could be a conflict between mgcpapp and stcapp.
