Hello all !
I have a problem here and i would like your help with that.. :)
I have a Cisco 7940, and i've downloaded the 8.11 SIP firmware.I extracted the firmware an there are 5 files :
OS79XX
P0S3-08-11-00.sb2
P003-08-11-00.sbn
P0S3-08-11-00.loads
P003-08-11-00
I've setup my laptop's ip address, connected the phone with a cross cable, and i am using the PumpKIN software for TFTP.So, when i try to boot it up, it takes the OS79XX file, but nothing else, and it asks for some .cnf files.
Why there are not these files to the directory that i have downloaded ?
At least in a very simple edition..
What can i do to upgrade my phone(s) ?
thanks a lot,
Nick

That message is given when the phone tries to register somewhere but is not able to register. Are you trying to register this to CME or a 3rd party registrar?
