Script Migration from Nortel to UCCX

Hi

No, there's no tool. The two systems will no doubt have lots of major and lots of very subtle differences, the only way to do this is to work with the customer to document the existing setup and call flows, and then use your UCCX knowledge to replicate what they have and improve it where possible.

Re: Script Migration from Nortel to UCCX

The nortel script is a free type word pad. You have to write everything- good from being real engineer again as opposed go dragging gui's around. when you start up symposium the only words you get in the default script is "wait 2 " after that you are on your own.

There is no conversion except knowing what the customer wants-sorry

Ah well.. with UCCX dragging the GUI is only half the story (and most of the problem when your custs do it accidentally!)

The java side of things is very flexible...

But as you say - gather requirements, design, build... treat it like new.
