Secondary Dial Tone issue

Can a 9. Route Pattern be configured in such a way that Secondary Dial Tone is  heard immediate upon dialing 9, as opposed to when it is currently heard, which  is when you dial the second digit in the string? My senior peer answered a no to his client , but he is unsure.

Can someone guide on this, whether it is a fact ?

Secondary Dial Tone issue

Based upon your config you determine when you will hear that, of course it is possible to get the dial tone after the 9. If you're not hearing it, it means that after dialing 9 not every single one of the possible matches from the digit analysis has the secondary tone checkbox checked.

Look at your dial plan to find out what else you're matching that either doesn't has the checkbox checked or doesn't even have the option.
