Friends,
We just upgraded our cluster from 6.1.5 to 8.5.1.. after upgrading I found some of the services has not come up (Commanded Out of Service). I tried to start these services from GUI but I dont find them, also no luck from the CLI mode.. Tried to find it from the Service Activation page but I did not find those.
Can anyone help me?
Below is the list of the services..

Hi,
I think this is a licensing issue.
Have you uploaded the new license for running 8.5.1
You definitley need a new license.

Hi Alex,
Thank you for the response. We have obtained the license from Cisco and also uploaded to the CUCM but still we have this issue. I dont think this is a licensing issue since other services have come up and the calls are working as normal.
Also we have upgrades other 2 clusters to the same 8.5.1 from 6.1.5 and have the same issue.

The stopped services all seem to be CAR/CDR related.
May be worth check if the config is still valid under the new CUCM 8.5 rlease.

Hi Mohsin,
Just to add a note to the good tips from Alex (+5 "A"!)
Have a look at these bugs that could be related to your issue;
Description
Symptom:
Under the CUCM Serviceability webpage, Control Center - Network Services, some
or all services are not displayed so they cannot be started, stopped, or restarted.
Conditions:
CUCM 8.x running on a VMware server.
Workaround:
The workaround for this defect requires TAC to access your server with a remote
support account. Open a TAC SR and reference this defect to get it fixed.

Hi Mohsin,
Any update on this? Did the CAR activation solve your problem?
Thanks.

Hello John,
We were not able to start the CAR due to approval issues here..
Since the services are not impacted, we left the plan of starting those services..
