Setting outbound pots dial-peers

Hi All,

I have 2 sites which use the same voice router. One site uses SIP, the other ISDN. The sites have different number ranges.

I've found out that they are both using the SIP trunk for their outbound calls and I need to force one site to use the ISDN line.

I was thinking to select dial-peer based on calling number, but can't see  from the dial-peer configuration how to do that.

Any help appreciated.

Simply set a prefix to

Simply set a prefix to distinguish how to route the calls.

destination-pattern 9.T for SIP

destination-pattern 2229.T for ISDN

Since POTS DPs drop exact matches, you'll match the right DP, and drop the extra digits, this has been discussed plenty of times at CSC.

Hi.To route calls based on

Hi.

To route calls based on calling number, you can use answer address on a voip diaper and then apply a translation profile to that DP.

Eg.

Calling number range 5100 - 5199

Destination - POTS (eg. ISDN E1 link)

voice translation-rule 10

rule 1 /^.*/ /1070\0/

voice translation-profile OUT-PSTN

translate called 10

dial-peer voice 10 voip

answer-address 5...

translation-profile incoming OUT-PSTN

dial-peer voice 20 pots

destination-pattern 1070T

port x/x/x:15

Thanks but I can't get this to work. I've even disabled the SIP dial-peer but still can't get any call to go out the ISDN line.

Calls can come in fine, thanks god, just nothing goes out
