sh ip traffic

hi guys,

when i run sh ip traffic on a router. it gives me alot of information, but under udp statistics, it says:

UDP statistics:

Rcvd: 4615 total, 0 checksum errors, 1430 no port

Sent: 2909 total, 0 forwarded broadcasts

what does it mean by "no port"?

Can you plz advise and help out if it is something to be worried and what it means?

Cheers :)

Re: sh ip traffic

Means. someone is sending packets to the router, or broadcast address, for an UDP port not in use.

Please use the correct forum next time, this one is for voice.
