Sharing E1 line on voice gateway router

Hi

I have an E1 connection for placing/receiving calls on my voice gateway router.

The E1 controller already has ds groups created.

I want to remove the existing configuration and re-configure the ds groups so that i can reserve some channels for certain users.

Q1. Is it safe to re-configure the ds groups?

Q2. I need some example to understand the configuration for sharing an E1?

1. yes, but It is not said you have to use multiple ds0 groups. Explain in detail what is that you want to do.

Hi

I want to create two DS groups

for example:

Channels 1-5 for my company.

Channels 6-10 for our sister company.

I have 10 channels in total to make calls so i would distribute them between the two companies.

You can configure different DPs, and use max-calls. This whay, you do not need to configure multiple ds0-group.
