I have a clinic that does not see caller ID on their 7960 displays when an external caller calls in. Internal calls work fine.

Currently when a call is picked up, the only thing on screen is "Unknown Number."
They would like for the number to show on screen.

On your Voice gateway do you see a number comming in when you do a debug isdn q931?
On the gateway config on the cucm do you have
ticked?

Hi James.
Where does the call come from? (SIP Trunk with a TSP, ISDN E1/T1 ..etc)
How, the Voice Gateway, communicates with Communications Manager?
In case of isdn PRI , please send the output of debug isdn q931 on the Voice Gateway.
If the call comes from a Sip Trunk, please send a debug ccsip messages.
