Hi,
I'm trying to configure a single dialed number on multiple lines on a 7941 (and also on IP Communicator) which is registered with Cisco UCM 7.1.
I couldn't find anything specific on UCM current documentation but I found the following link which explains how to do this on CallManager 3.x.
Is this still the way to configure the multiple lines with a single number in newer UCM versions?

Hi Guilherme,
Yes, this method does carry forward for Multi-Line configs in the newer CUCM versions as well :)
Hope this helps!

Rob,
Have you seen any newer docs about this matter?
Thanks for your reply!

Hi Guilherme,
The reason that you won't see any newer docs on this subject is that with the release of CCM 4.x the "multiple Calls" per line and "Busy Trigger" were introduced. So you didn't need to use this method any more. But some of our users still prefer the visual aspect of the older setup, especially users who came from our Nortel deployment which used the Multi-Call (or MCR) setup. They didn't like trying to manage multiple calls per line button so we still use the method listed in that "tech note" for them :)
Cheers!
Rob
