We have a SIP Proxy that relies on redirecting for load balancing. So, when the phone sends an INVITE message (To: <sip:contact@IP;user=phone>) proxy responds with a "302: Moved Temporarily" and provides new Contact: <sip:contact@IP:5061>, trying to make the phone contact it on a different port (5061 instead of 5060). However, the cisco phone (7912) seems to ignore that port part from the Contact field and continues to try reaching on port 5060.
So, the question is: is this a bug or a feature?
