SIP/SS7 with PGW - strange problem?

Hi,

I'm implementing a voip/pstn solution based on a SIP proxy, PGW and AS5350. Setting up a call with the sip client works, the destination (phone in the pstn) rings. But when the destination answers the phone, the sip phone keeps ringing. So, I started some debugging and snoops and I found that the PGW does not do anyting with the incoming answer message (SS7)? Any idea where could be the problem? Configuration?

I also noticed that the PGW aks the AS for an endpoint called remote@name.net ? AS then tells PGW that he does not know that endpoint... Can someone tell me what it is and if it is related to my problem? It is configurable in the xxxparm.dat file on the PGW.

Thank you,

Johan

The value of the remote IP port for each C7 IP link is retrieved from the value set for the *.stPort field in the XECfgParm.dat file you set up during your initial system configuration.

Thank you for your message but I think it's a reply to another question...

Possibly not answering another question. I think he is telling you to edit that file to set the value you want instead of the default string.

I already did that, but no change...
