I'm implementing a voip/pstn solution based on a SIP proxy, PGW and AS5350. Setting up a call with the sip client works, the destination (phone in the pstn) rings. But when the destination answers the phone, the sip phone keeps ringing. So, I started some debugging and snoops and I found that the PGW does not do anyting with the incoming answer message (SS7)? Any idea where could be the problem? Configuration?
I also noticed that the PGW aks the AS for an endpoint called firstname.lastname@example.org ? AS then tells PGW that he does not know that endpoint... Can someone tell me what it is and if it is related to my problem? It is configurable in the xxxparm.dat file on the PGW.
