Hi
We got SIP Trunk between CME and Nortel CS1000. Is there any steps to check if SIP Trunks are up with no errors.
thanks

Hi
Yep.
Make a call, see if it works..
Try any other scenarios you can think up - generally testing features like hold, transfers on either side to see if it breaks.

Hi
Is it possible to check from CME console for SIP Trunks activity ( Up/Down/Errors )
How to check which dial-peer is used for calls originating from PSTN to endpoints terminating on Cisco.
PSTN is terminated on Nortel ; SIP trunk is between Nortel & Cisco

The answer you have been given already is correct. SIP trunks do not have UP/down state and error counters associated, they are stateless.
You should be able to tell wich DP is used by looking at the configuration. To verify, you can enable debugs.
