Going on the assumption that nothing has changed and there's not a native way to do it...so is there a third party product that would allow SMS messages to be received and delivered to a 7921 phone?
Got a new IPT-equipped facility that has lousy cell coverage. So now we're looking to ditch the Nextel phones in favor of existing 7921's. But there's a facility management system that sends SMS messages to the facilities peoples' cell phones. Is there a clean way to replace this functionality?
Seems like every solution so far defaults to SMTP as the lowest common denominator, but nowhere have I been able to find a product that could gateway those incoming SMS messages and push them (presumably via Services app) to the wireless phones.
