SNMP trap for phone registration / de-registration

I'd like to monitor for phone registration (de-registration) events. Is there a way to configure CUCM version 6.x to send a trap each time a phone a) becomes registered or b) becomes unregistered?

As for traps related to phone registration status there are Traps defined in CISCO-CCM-MIB. ccmPhoneStatusUpdate which tracks registered and unregistered phones. This Notification will be generated in the intervals specified in ccmPhoneStatusUpdateInterv if there is at least one entry in the ccmPhoneStatusUpdateTable. ccmPhoneFailed which tracks phones having problem registering.

There is not an option within CCM menus to configure traps. Traps are configured in the Operating System.
