Is it possible to add some new button on the softkey template other than the default(what is on the softkey layout)? Say to dial operator, Can we make use of the softkey button to dial( or tigger) operator extension ? I wonder whether we can develope an application?

Softkey template configuration allows the administrator to manage softkeys that the Cisco IP Phones (such as model 7960) support. Refer URL for operationm that could be performed on call manager
