Srst extension translation

Hi guys,

We have phones that with long extension. We are using last 4 digit for internal usage in CUCM operation. But in SRST mode, we could't operate last 4 digit instead of entire extension. We have to dial entire extension. It is possible to do something like translation in SRST mode ?

Regards,

Baris.

Yes its possible by configuring translation profiles and using CME-SRST. You can also use the num-exp command as well.

Re: Srst extension translation

You can do translations even if not using CME-SRST, aka you can have it with call-manager-fallback.

This is an example from one of my customers that uses this.

voice translation-rule 50

rule 1 /^632\(....\)$/ /+632871\1/

rule 2 /4662010/ /0004640322010/

rule 3 /4665555/ /0004640325555/

rule 4 /^\+632\(.*\)/ /0\1/

rule 5 /^\+63\(.*\)/ /00\1/

rule 6 /^\+\(.*\)/ /000\1/

!

voice translation-profile SRST-IN

translate called 50

!

call-manager-fallback

translation-profile incoming SRST-IN
