Hi,
I am trying to configure SRST fallback mode:
telephony-service
srst mode auto-provision none
<--removed ->
Till now I used:
call-manager-fallback
The callmanager has several BRI interfaces and are under H323 controll. When callmanager works the call is going to callmanager and translation patterns take care of this.
This is the normal configuration:
dial-peer voice 1 pots
incoming called-number xxxxxxxxxx
direct-inward-dial
!
dial-peer voice 10 voip
destination-pattern xxxxxxxxxx
voice-class codec 1
session target ipv4:<ip>
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
!
When using "call-manager-fallback" I am using alias commands to reroute incomming calls.
How would you do this with the "telephony-service" SRST fallback mode?
There are no alias commands.
Thanks,
bye,
JH

When you are using Telephony Service, you are effectively configuring the Call Manager Express which is a stand alone Call Manager by itself. Instead of alias, you can play with ephone-dn's to achieve different things just like you do with alias along with call-manager-fallback SRST setup.
HTH,
Cheers

Looks like the ephone-dn can be used as a sort of alias.
I only configure Callmanager, not CCME, so I have to read this.
But how to use the ephone-dn and not the dial-peer? I tried preference, but it seems that this doesn't really work.
Must test it better.
Thank you both for the answers.

Take a look at this document on using CME as SRST when you are using CUCM as the primary solution.
