Re: SRST Issue.

Does it have SRST reference defined?
Are you running SCCP or SIP load?

Can you post "debug ephone register"?

I shutdown the call manager to get a few logs, but nothing.

SRST Issue.

If you browse the IP address of the phone and go under Network Setup do you see the SRST reference there?

Can you ping the SRST router from the CUCM or the phone VLAN?

Chris

SRST Issue.

Yes, I can see the router IP Listed as SRST and aswell as on the "Device Config" on the phone.

I can ping it ofcourse, also the router is registered as a h323 gateway on cucm and pri calls are thru it.

Thanks

SRST Issue.

Are other device types registing to it?

You may want to do a wireshark trace on your PC to see what the IPC is doing.

What are you dialing? PSTN or internal numbers?

If PSTN please post "debug isdn q931" and "debug voice dialpeer"

HTH, please rate all useful posts!

Hi Chris,

I am dialling PSTN and it works now.

I have the below two dial-peers. I had "destination pattern ." on voip and had to remove it. But what will happen now when I turn the CUCM back on. Also what should I do for Internal Numbers ?

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 9T

incoming called-number .

direct-inward-dial

port 0/0/0:15

!

dial-peer voice 2 voip

translation-profile outgoing OUTGOING

session target ipv4:10.200.132.10

voice-class codec 1

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

no vad

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Thanks a lot for the support.

But what should I do for internal dialling ? And I removed "destination-pattern ." from the voip dialpeer. What happens if I turn on the CUCM ?

Thanks again.

Re: SRST Issue.

You need destination pattern on the VoIP calls to point to CUCM under normal condition, it should be defined based on how many and what digits you receive from telco.
As to internal dialing it depends on your dial plan which you omitted details for, ie is it variable length that you want to allow abbreviated dialing, etc. provide all details please, the way you would handle this would be via translation rules and profiles applied under call-manager-fallback.
