Hi
I try configuring the SRST for SIP phones 8831, but It doesn´t working.
the voice register global is version 10.0

Max-pool is 50
Max-dn is 100
Outbound-proxy is enabled and will use global configured value
Security Policy: DEVICE-DEFAULT
Forced Authorization Code Refer is enabled
System message is SRST_CONTINGENCIA
the phone firmware is sip8831.9-3-3-5
the CUCM is System version: 9.1.2.11900-12
the IOS gateway is c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.154-1.T1.bin.
Can someone help me??

Take a look at: CSCui95307
8831 is incorrectly documented as supported for CME 10.0 (hence for SRST)
If you're not using 10.5, that may be your issue assuming that 10.5 is correctly documented :)

I'm having the same issue. I've gotten 8831s working fine in CME, just not SRST.

Can you share debug ccsip mess when the phones go into SRST mode.

The system is in production so I'll have to see about when I can flip into SRST and test again.

Hi,
You can configure an ACL on the WAN interface to deny all traffic from UCM to test IP phone and allow reset of the traffic in the ACL. This phone only will go to SRST mode

I understand that but they'll still lose lots of functionality. I apologize but I'm not in the habit of unnecessarily crippling my clients' phones systems in the middle of the day.
