Status: not found, CCMAdmin console

I have run into an issue where the status and IP of phones at a remote site are not showing up in the ccmadministration website. The phones are working, I just have no status for them.

We have 2 sites, on the local site, the status and IP shows up fine. On the remote site I have no status or IP.

The network side went down this past weekend, and I've got a feeling it has something to do with this.

I have been checking the Event log and havent found anything out of the ordinary.

I found the problem. Checking the event log I found the following error:

The Cisco RIS Data Collector service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 16 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

After checking the services, it seems the service hung at 'starting'. I killed the process and restarted the service, and its working fine now!

Re: Status: not found, CCMAdmin console

Yes you are correct, RIS takes care of device status.

Is it the only time it has happened?

CCM version and OS version?

How many servers?

Reporting the same fro CCMAdmin in all servers?

Remember a DDTS in 4.0.X

Thanks let us know
