I have a really strange problem. I'm not even sure I can explain it but here we go.
I have a new VG224 with 18 analog phones connected to the ports. They are all configured as POTS.
When one of the analog phones makes an internal call (4 digit) to an IP phone, I see the call twice. I answer the first call and can talk to the caller. Meanwhile, the other call is still ringing and the caller can here it ringing from the analog phone earpiece. I can answer the second call and switch back and forth.
I have the max number of calls and the busy trigger set to one. That didn't help.
Another issue is that if the IP phone calls an analog phone, the phone rings. If it's answered, the call drops.
The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
