I have installed a second server of Call Manager (Subscriber), and in the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Group, this second server is not showed, the installation was performed as follows:
I installed the second server, as a non first node.
The data base was replicated correctly, from the publisher to subscriber.
I upload the license file to node Publisher.
But in the "Cisco Unified Communications Manager group members, I do not see the new server.
I restart the Call Manager service and the Cisco License Manager

Ensure that the CM, CTI, Database and Admin as well as other Services are activated after installed the Call Manager (Subscriber).
Goto "Tools" > "Service Activation" under Cisco Unified Serviceability.
After services are activated, you should see the Call Manager (Subscriber) on the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Group Members.

I had the same problem:
It seems that some feature need to be active equal between de PUB and the SUB.

Yes, JAVA is right. you also need to consider this as well. Unless "Call Manager Service" is not running on CUCM Subscriber it wont show under CUCM Groups.

Hi Ricardo,
Did you perform Step 4?
To add a new node to an existing cluster, follow the steps in Table 1.
Task | For More Information | |
---|---|---|
Step 1 | Before you make any changes to your existing cluster, be sure that you have a current backup file. | For more information, refer to the Disaster Recovery System Administration Guide. |
Step 2 | Perform all pre-installation tasks that apply to your site. | For a list of pre-installation tasks, see Table 1. |
Step 3 | Ensure that you have the appropriate number of licenses to support adding a new node. | For more information on specifying the required number of licenses, refer to the License Unit Calculator chapter in the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration Guide. |
Step 4 | Before you install the new node, ensure that you have configured it on the first node. | From Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration on the first node, choose System > Server and configure the IP address for the subsequent nodes. For more information, see the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration Guide. |
Step 5 | Record the configuration settings for each server that you plan to install. | To record your configuration settings, see Table 10. |
Step 6 | You must install the same software version on all nodes in the cluster. If you do not have the correct version on DVD, you need to either download updated software from Cisco.com or follow the procedure for applying a patch during the installation procedure. | For more information on the different installation options, see the "Installation Overview" section. |
Step 7 | Follow the procedure to begin installing the software on the DVD to your server. | |
Step 8 | If you need to upgrade the version of Cisco Unified Communications Manager that you have on DVD, continue with the procedure for applying a software patch. | See the "Applying a Patch" section. |
Step 9 | Follow the procedure for performing the basic installation. | |
Step 10 | When the First Node Configuration displays, choose No to configure the new server as a subsequent node. | See Step 10 in the "Performing the Basic Installation" section. |
Step 11 | Follow the procedure for configuring a subsequent node. | |
Step 12 | Perform all post-installation tasks that apply to your site. | See Table 13. |
Step 13 | If your cluster is running in mixed mode, ensure that you have your USB key and the latest security plug-in installed on the PC that you use to communicate with the first node. After you finish installing the new node, you will need to update the CTL file on all nodes. | For more information, see "Applying Security to a New Node in a Secure Cluster" section. |

hi,
Just to fill gap adding further to your suggestions,
From view point, if Subscriber is added under Servers. Please confirm.
If CUCM second Node is not added under CUCM Node 1 > System > Servers then CUCM setup won't allow to install it as Subscriber. During the installation, CUCM Node-2 will not be able to communicate to Node-1.
So, to install Subscriber as node, first configure Subscriber node as HOSTNAME / IP Address on Publisher.
Thanks & Regards,
Ritesh Desai
