Hi Waqas,

If you wish to solve partition unaligned issue in sub1, then you can upgrade sub1 and then follow the below procedure. (Take a backup, do a fresh install of sub 1 with the correct OVA and then restore)

https://supportforums.cisco.com/t5/ip-telephony/cucm-8-6-to-cucm-9-1-upgrade-in-place-quot-partitions-unaligned/td-p/2730782

If you no longer need sub 1, then you need to delete it properly. Remove it from system --> Server and that requires cluster reboot starting with the Pub. You need to make sure that the sub is removed properly, else it will cause DB replication issue.

I am not able to login Sub 1 with OS username and password to upgrade 11.5. Please advise

You can follow the below procedure to recover the OS admin credentials.

And yes in response to your query before this, after the upgrade the partitions might remain unalligned i.e if the upgrade goes through fine. You can always take backup, redeploy 9.1.2 using the right OVA, restore the backup and then go for the upgrade to 11.5.

Procedure for recovery:
