We have a 7970 at the operator console and have a dilema. They need to be able to make a new call (dial out) even if a call is coming in. So in essence, even if 2 or 3 calls are coming in at once they need to be able to dial out to make a call before they answer the incoming. Is this possible or do they need to answer the incoming and put those on hold first?

Do you have CM and if so which version? There are multipleway this can be done, new call softkey, configuring additional button/extensions, etc.
