Technology used is CME: Accessing VMAIL Remotely via CME/CUE
Is there a way for remote users to access vmail outside the office via Auto Attendant
without calling the Receptionist during normal business hours? [for example, when they hit the AA, they press the * key and or an extensions to be dropped into voice mail menus]
Note: Without purchasing a dedicated PRI or POTS lines

Hi Alphonso,
Yes, this is most possible :)
This is probably your best option;
**If you choose to terminate calls at the AA, you must redirect calls to voice mail via the AA menu by dialing the voice mail pilot number as an extension.
From this excellent CUE doc;

Hope this helps!

If all calls are terminated at AA, will that affect internal calling for vmail access.

Hi Alphonso,
The Internal Voicemail access would not be effected in this scenario. If your CUE VM Pilot # was 6000 for example. The VM Button would still route to 6000 and the External Caller would enter 6000 when in AA to route to the VM Pilot :)
Hope this helps!
