Telco asked me the following..

"Do you have the possibility to have your gateway configured in a way, that tells us that the dialed number is complete? Some kind of "sending-complete" notification..?"

Our problem is the following: On international calls, when the call setup exceedes 15 sec, it gets disconnected. This problem is most noticable on calls to international mobile numbers. International landline calls sets up much quicker ( usually within 8-10 sec), and only rarely fails. The Telco acknowledge this, but asks us if it is possible for us to give them somekind of "notification" that the dialed string is completed. This would make them able to route the call faster, and hopefully within the timeframe.

So, our gateway is a Cisco 2800, with ios: c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.124-25b

Anyone that could give us some hints on how to help the Telco out?

Are you usign CME or CM ? H.323 or MGCP.
