Text to speech- unity connection 9.1 help

Dear all,

I would like to configure Text to speech- on our unity connection 9.1 which is integrated with exchange 2010

I wanted to know if this feature will allow to play all the emails apart from Voicemail messages in outlook mailbox?

or is it gonna only play the Voicemail messages which is from my IP phone synched with outlook?

I am bit confused with this feature

can somebody help me to configure it? and help me to understand this feature exactly?

Please provide me a configuration guide for configuring this feature in our unity connection 9.1....

It will play your emails to you over the phone, this is a feature under the unified messaging umbrella which also include the single inbox and calendar integration.

Hello Rebecca,

TTS can be used to play email messages over your phone.

"Connection can play Exchange email over the phone by using Text to Speech"

Connection Mixer

This service enables the audio (media stream) for calls, recorded messages, and Text to Speech (TTS). Disabling this service will degrade the ability of Connection to function.

Hi all,

  We are using MS exchange version 2010 and same has been configured  as per DOCS shared.

  We have configured LDAP on Call manager and able to fetch users. Also same users need to be fetched  in UCXN. Can we do it through LDAP or AXL in unity connection?

    What specific needs to be configured on UCXN version 9.1.1.20000-5

  Total number of Speech Connect sessions CUC_SpeechConnectPort 2
