I have 3825 CME with CUE, when a caller call and the autoattended played and route to whatever extension he want, and the caller hang-up before answering the phone keep ringing with no end.

I tried to configure the FXO to one of extension directly without autoattendant it worked fine “disconnect directly”.

I have attach you “show run” and “debug vpm signal”

You need to enable supervisory disconnect on the fxo port.

Try these configuration for disconnect:

voice-port 0/2/0
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
cptone BR
timeouts call-disconnect 1
timeouts ringing 5
timeouts wait-release 1

It works on most of my configured FXO voicegateway.

hi,

I have add supervisory command but still ringing, another solution please.

Hi,

If your configuration is exactly like this:

voice-port 0/2/0
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
cptone BR
timeouts call-disconnect 1
timeouts ringing 5
timeouts wait-release 1

May be your frequency and cadence is wrong. Please make a custom tone and re-apply it to your voice-port.

For example:

*** please note that the parameters are for Vietnamese telco only ***

voice class custom-cptone vn
dualtone disconnect
  frequency 425 425
  cadence 500 500 continuous

!

voice-port 0/2/0
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
supervisory custom-cptone vn
no battery-reversal
timeouts call-disconnect 0
timeouts ringing 5

timeouts wait-release 1

hi,

sorry for late, but still same  keep ringing.

Note that the frequency and cadence I posted are just example. You need to find exactly what your parameters are.

Method 1: Ask your telco

Method 2: Get it yourself by capture the tone and analyze by some tools like CoolEdit Pro... If you need to do it, please contact me for the steps.

Hi,

Sorry for late I was in vacation, now could you please help for the step to get the frequency and cadence.

And one more thing is this frequency and cadence effect on caller-id.

Appreciate your help.

Hello,

Could you please help for the step to get the frequency and cadence.

Follow Nick's tips to capture frequency and cadence in this thread:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/1153101#1153101

And one more thing is this frequency and cadence effect on caller-id.

No.

Hope it helps, please rate if it does.

Kind regards,

- Adrian.

Hello,

I am practicing the MGCP config and i have a problem with calls inbound from the PSTN to the FXO Port (0/0/0) on my router (Cisco 2821), when a call is made to my FXO Port from the PSTN the call is directed to the Attendant DN that i configured under the FXO Endpoint I setup in the CUCM 7.0 and the Attendant DN is 1003 that points to an IP Phone on my network (all IP Phones are in the range 1xxx), the call eventually goes fine and my IP Phone on extension 1003 rings but I have two major problems:

a) I'm calling from my mobile (on the PSTN) to the FXO port and after it rings once for me on my mobile phone the line gets connected and i can hear a dial tone for 10 secs exactly (similar to a dial tone when you pick up a phone to dial a number) and my cell minutes are already being used and then after exactly 10 secs i can hear the ringing of the remote phone on my mobile phone and can also see the ip phone start ringing as well.

b) now as a continuation to the problem (a), once my ip phone starts ringing and if i happen to hang up my mobile phone, the ip phone keeps ringing forever....

As this post is marked as solved and is from 2010 it would be recommended for you to open your own post to ask your questions.
