Third party SIP clients re-registering and dropping active calls

I have a third party SIP soft-client registered to the Call Manager. The SIP client can make and receive calls. But the client is re-registering every 120 seconds. While re-registering it drops active calls. I was able to increase the registration expires time but how do I fix the issue with dropping active calls.

How can I avoid dropping active calls when the re-register messages are exchanged.
